Well I just debadged my car and it turned out great but the rear bow tie on my trunk i used a goo-gone type of cleaner to remove the sticky pad thing but now i have these big spots around the bow tie and now on top of my trunk lid any idea whats thats from and how to fix it.

yeah, i did that too and got the same thing. the stuff actually made my paint look really cloudy, so i took it to a bodyshop to get an estimate and the guy buffed it out for free...idk how he did it because i tried buffing it for a good 2 hours. id say take it to a bodyshop and maybe youll get lucky too

when i took mine off, i used a little paint thinner and came right out, of course it faded my clear coat a little, but good thing for a buffer machine, i buffed my whole trunk and it looks great, even the little scrathes i created from taking the badges out disappeared, get some wax and rub really hard on those spots with the wax to create some heat and it might take it out
