yes, 215 is basically the width. it all depends on the size of the sc rim... sometimes if you have 8" wide rims you can go up to 275 but the aspect ratio has to be like 50 or 55 but with a 245 you can have a low pro (35-45ish) aspect ratio.

anyone here to help this man better... im unsure of the sc rim width or i could explain better and what is the max size tire you can put on a balt before itll scrape the fender well? me and Dead Zen formally 06lasersss/c were wondering this

and ur from elizabeth, ever venture towards irwin?

well im not positive, but it depends on the width of ur rim... let me know what the width is and i can give you a list of tires that will fit

If you want to run 18-inch wheels:

* For 35-series tires, you will want a tire that is 250 mm wide
* For 40-series tires, you will want a tire that is 218 mm wide
* For 45-series tires, you will want a tire that is 194 mm wide
* For 50-series tires, you will want a tire that is 175 mm wide
* For 55-series tires, you will want a tire that is 159 mm wide
* For 60-series tires, you will want a tire that is 146 mm wide
* For 65-series tires, you will want a tire that is 134 mm wide
* For 70-series tires, you will want a tire that is 125 mm wide
* For 75-series tires, you will want a tire that is 116 mm wide
* For 80-series tires, you will want a tire that is 109 mm wide
* For 85-series tires, you will want a tire that is 103 mm wide
* For 90-series tires, you will want a tire that is 97 mm wide

this is a basic but what is the size of the ss/sc rim width?

The SS/SC has 18x7 wheels stock. I run a 235/40 and it looks real nice. I think you could do a 245 but I haven't seen it on stock rims.

id say that a 255/40ZR17 may fit but you can call a place like import export tire (tire dealer near me) or whatever big tire dealer is near you and i can guarentee they can tell you

here is the actual place of the post its mid last page

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...17#post1504717

and the traklite's are 17x8, the mr7's are 17x7
