Ok so like I said my friend has an 89 5.0 302 stang that he says can beat my SS. Both cars are stock...need input cause I wanna race for money!

 

if you are a better driver, then you can take him out. when i was stock, i was neck and neck with one at the track.

You should beat him from a roll but it would be real close from a dig,if your not a pretty good driver he will kill you.

just do some simple free mods...like intake mod, and anything else that can be done on the ss/sc. That'll deff. give your car a little more umph...they're not that fast...i beat one with only a 75 shot....no exhaust or other mods except a CAI; stock continental tires too. I think you can take him with what i said^^^.

 

I beat a modded one when I was stock, he actually pulled over with me after the race and was asking me all about my car becuase he couldnt believe it. He had to make sure I was stock, it was pretty funny but the guy was cool.

stock for stock... will be drivers race... my 88' GT when it was stock clicked off 14.5 @97 with shitty 2.3 60's... it'll be a drivers race imo.
