This forum stickied a topic about TrueDelta's vehicle reliability research earlier this year, and I'm very grateful for that.

I just wanted to post something here, because many people ignore the stickies, and a few more participants would be very helpful.

We've been collecting data on the 2006 for a while now as a result, but that sample size remains borderline.

And the 2005 and 2007 are each just five owners short of being able to get started. I'd really like to start with both years this month.

I was thinking of signing up (I have an '07), but I couldn't find a privacy policy on the page.

 

you never divulge anything really...just if your car has entered the shop for repairs or not, and if so, what were the repairs and the such...no personal information if you dont want, however theres also surveys on what age groups buy what, so hey might ask for gender and age

 

It's a great program and a way to be heard. Been in it for over a year.

 

There's a link at the bottom of every page. Essentially, I'm not giving out your personal info (to the minimal extent I collect it) to anyone. The policy itself has the usual boilerplate language that the policy can change, with substantial changes (none so far) noted in the monthly email, but this part won't.

 

I see it now. You may want to consider putting a clear link to this where it asks for your e-mail address. I personally hate spam and don't give my address out, generally.

The essential point is stated where you sign up. It says there "Your email address and other personal information will never be provided to a third party."
