well to get to the point i start my balt in the morning and i get all sorts of cels. also runs strange wants to die when i stop, wont shift right, low fuel light comes on when i got a 1/4 tank, tc turns off and no power steering. this all started this week iv had this car for a year and have 20k miles. i didn't list everything but maybe u all have an idea what it is. i think the computer is done for. please let me know.
i dont think youd have much luck with that. Throwing a tech 2 at it wont help as much as you think it would. It almost sounds like your BCM is taking a **** on you. Sounds like a bad electrical connetion somewhere in the circuit.
yeah, his ground cable could also be loose, could be a lot of things, basically, i'd take it to the dealer and be like "look sport, fix it, and i want a loaner in the interum, because this is neither safe, nor reliable"

Im not sure what to say now. I got to thinking in our coblats, everything runs out of the BCM. including PCM. So i dont know as though that coud be the problem, or else nothing in the ar would work at all. Very dangerous thing to have on the back of you mind when driving. " Hmm wonder if my car is gonna compleyley shut off while Im going through town?" Lemon law is a possibility. But have them chek grounds and the like. Its warrenty work, so have them start hanging parts.
i don't think they have a clue whats going on. pissing me off. my car has been in the dealership for 2 weeks now. they say its my amp that i had put in there but ive had that in there for 9 months. does this sound right to any of u?
mine did sort of the same thing when i put my system in the trunk the positive battery conection was lose i guess just enough for it to have a bad conection. not saying it is the samething.
they were saying i can't have it in there because it disrupts the computer. i don't believe this to be true i think they just want to blame it on something i did. like i said ive had it in there for 9 months. wouldn't it happen as soon as the amp was installed ?
Check all your fuses in the fuse box under the hood,but mainly the ECW/trans fuse,This fuse seems to power everything that you are having problems with.It wont be blown but inspect the legs to see if there is any discoloration in the legs indicating a bad connection and reseat it properly.Then take a look at the big connectors on the fuse box.
Just thought of something else the crank relay I heard can come loose from wheel hop or just hitting bumps check it to.
Bad connections are a mechanics nightmare,things still work but the voltage drop they create cause havoc with the electrical system.

i will take a look at the fuses. i just got my **** back and so far its ok for the most part. i stoped in to a gas station and i started the car back up and traction control was off. hadn't had any thing els yet but if more pop up i got some ass chewn to do. they disconnected my amp and said problem solved.
i haven't messed with the amp in 6 months and no need for car alarm just use the stock.

i got a little over 20k miles on it. i think the computer was shittin on me because the positive battery terminal was loose and i doubt the dealership checked that. they just blamed it on after market wiring
