I was just wandering if our car will like them. I had them on my cavalier and just wanted to extra spark for the cobalt. I have the SS/SC so i was just needing advice.

junk, the extra electodes will shroud the spark, only the shortest electrode will arc. I would not put them in even if there were the same price as regular plugs. Plus I have heard of problems with the platinum flaking off under boosted applications.

Best plugs you can use in your car are AC Delco. They come stock on all GM vehicles, and hence tend to give the best results when switching out the stock ones.

Just find out what type of metal the stock plugs are made of (they should be Platinum) and replace them with the same thing in AC Delco. That will give you the best spark, efficiency, and power

Since I was a great fan of these plugs (already had good results on my previous cars), I gave them a try for one week on my 2005 Cobalt SS / SC. First of all, Bosch do not recommend thse very plugs for supercharged or turbocharged cars. Secondly, our car is not even listed on the Bosch web site. I found an equivalent number to fit our car based on stock NGK plugs, and decided to go one step colder. I tried the Bosch +4 (#4417) plugs with nothing good and also less mileage per gallon, maybe due to the fact they were one step colder. I definitly not recommend them for the Cobalt SS SC. Have a nice day !
