Exhaust and SC

OK. I want a low, deep tone from the exhaust. What should I get? And, I found that if you dismantle the damn air intake box, you can take out the bottom panel, then remove the stock air filter, put in a K&N, leave the bottom panel off... you will get the nice "whine" from the supercharger when flooring it. Is that bad?

before you get flamed from everyone telling you to "uSeD teh SaErCh BuTtoN!@#!", no that whine isn't bad. It's something called the airbox mod. There's a couple posts on it. As far as exhaust, I've always liked the way Borla sounds. Thats gonna come down to personal opinon. I'd try to get some people to post sound clips with different exhausts on their cars.

Hey, why not? If you have an exhaust on your car, How bout we put all the clips in here. That way there's a central place to look. Or if not here make a thread with just sound clips.

I talked with Corsa extensively about sound , and they were shooting for as deep a tone they could get without creating any interior resonance or "fartcan" sounds . Their sound levels as described by one of their tech's is just a few ticks louder than the stock cat-back with a slightly deeper tone . This is the exhaust Im going with , all the others on the market Ive heard so far are just tooo damn loud .

Im also about 98% positive the Corsa exhaust = GMPP catbacks as well , since all corsa products for GM cars and trucks are the only catbacks that are GM licensed . These are available to order NOW at the dealer . $539 is I remember right .

All that wine is is the SC doing what it is supposed to do. All A SC is ia a big fan. and that wine is the "Blades" spinning inside.
