There's no reason why they wouldn't be the same. Besides if you're looking to 2.0 axles to reduce wheel hop, you're looking in the WRONG place.

My suggestion - go with the Driveshaft Shop Stage 2 axles, they should fit all Cobalt models.

no, im not looking for axles to reduce wheel hop. im looking for axles so if/when i destroy my stockers i'll have a plan b. my next mods after my clutch will be CAB's (for another attempt at reducing wheel hop) and perhaps some slicks for the track.

The 2.0 and 2.4 axles are different. The axles on a 2.4 are the same as a 2.2. The 2.0 has a different trans with equal lenth axle shafts. and the 2.2 and 2.4 dont.

learn some throttle control and you wont have to deal with wheel hop...you will never 100% get rid of it so you have to learn some throttle control and not just got WOT in the lower gears or launch from retarded RPMs.

A front tranny mount insert and BWoody traction bars stopped a good amount of my wheel hop...now wheel spin is my only problem!

If they are anything like the axles in the eco cavy's then were should be in good shape (since the both use the f23). Bill Hahn made a post on the j-body forums a while ago that i read ranting and raving about about how good the stock axles were and that they were one of the beafiest parts on the car.
