Springs... which to get....

DO NOT VOTE IN THE POLL!!!!!

Okay guys so heres the deal... Im starting this thread so that i can get your opions on some stuff, i got 100 gift card for winning a show and im looking to lower my car... i have some extra cash so im gunna do it while i can... So here are your choices...

Choice1: Tenzos
Choice2: Sportlines
Choice3: Goldlines
Choice 4: Other... please specify in the thread or by pm....

So here are my requirements... I want at least a 1.5 drop in the rear...i think all of these do that... I have an LS just to clear it up.. and I want to just go with the cheapest springs that i can get that i know will be good... If anyone has any other ideas let me know by pm or post on this thread...

i wouldn't get the middle 2. sorry, but jdm and cobalt don't go together, and neither do lowering springs for 49 dollars.

1st and 4th are pretty much the same im guessing. they will drop your car a lot. some people have problems bottoming out with the tenzos, but for the price they are nice if you are just looking for a drop. you may end up having strut issues down the road with that big of a drop though, you may want to consider aftermarket struts. the middle two. NO. NO. NO. our cars are not from japan, therefore there are no jdm parts for it. that should be a huge red flag right there. save your money and buy eibachs. do it right the first time.

i wouldn't get any of those if you like your struts not blown. save up and do it right, get a good coilover kit

definately go with the tenzos. 1 and 4 are the same so go with whichever is cheaper. the other two may not have spring rate matching poundage.... like the 4 corners may have different spring rates with those two since they arent name brand but they may be good.

just go with tenzo-r

if you have 220 bucks you can get eibachs, or are like really close to them. **** coilovers will take forever to save up for. i say eibachs or nothing. but yes the ssc ones are nice as well ive heard.

They drop it 1.5" in the front and 1.3" in the back. They're only about $150 + shipping. I'm very satisfied with mine. They ride good and don't pogo like some other springs

That drop is for the ss/sc correct..? so it would drop more for an LS...

I'd get goldlines. They are a 1.75 in drop all around. I have them and they ride pretty good for springs. I believe modern performance has a deal going on them right now for like 100.
