Sportlines are great springs... lower the car nice and ride almost like stock. They feel nice and tight... If you want a slammed look, springs wont do it. Need to get coilovers or something along those lines.

damn, im runnin 19s so if you want to drop it lower... harder on the struts... i think someone suggested getting a coilover system, which is what i would do if you wanted to drop it any lower

Description:
In between the bore of stock springs and the ultra-aggressive drop of racing springs is the perfect compromise: ST Suspension Sporttech Springs. They bring a touch of on-track flair to vehicles like yours that are begging for some extra excitement.

ST Sporttech Springs lower the stance of your ride just enough to get that sporty look craved by tuners and commuters alike. And, with that sporty stance comes a wealth of added performance benefits: a lower center of gravity, reduced body roll in corners and limited weight transfer under acceleration. To put it in un-scientific terms, you get some of the same exhilaration found in a 200 mph racecar.

Beyond looking and performing great, ST Suspension Sporttech Springs are ones you can count on. Each is custom-wound from high-tensile steel for your specific suspension and toped with a protective powder coating in ST Green. And, your set of ST Suspension Sporttech Springs comes with a Lifetime Warranty.

a drop is a drop. your going notice no matter what. you have to think about everyday driving and such. if its just for the show, then drop it as low as you need. but if drive your balt where is snows and where the roads are bumpy and such i wouldnt go to low. know what i mean? it has to be drivable too

yeah i know... it snows here but not like it does in Iowa or anything.... or even in Colorado... you know? so i mean its not that big of a deal if it snows here or not,... Its my daily driver so i mean.. i could settle for like a 2" drop...

Yo will those springs even work on my car because it says for "SS use only"....

lol nice

so what do you guys think.. heres my plan...

I could:
1. install them myself because i know someone with a lift... and save install. then go get an alignment at dobbs or somewhere...
2. get someone to install them for 150 plus alignment...

so im looking at 135 +alignment +150 for install and thats only 280 for the springs with install... what do you guys think???

So setup a lemondade stand and save up the extra $20-$30.

JimboSS, I've had my sportlines on about a year now, no blown struts/shocks. Coilovers are a waste of money unless you plan on autocrossing your car every weekend.

I didn't get to see the so called "JDM" brands.......what were they? If they were K-sport or Tein, both are very reputable brands. Just b/c they are based in Japan dosent mean they don't have an american branch over here that does R&D in the states on American cars.

unbless ur runnin like 22's or thats not ur car in ur sig, theres no way they only dopped the car .75 and 1.25. and just do it urself and go somewhere for an alignment. jus one day when u have like a whole day planned for doing nothing, do it. lol. dnt waste 150, especially if ur friend has a lift u can use
