Cobra heat exchanger

I have a question about using a 03-04 Fluidyne cobra heat exchanger is it ok to buy that one? I hear everyone using the stock one over the Fluidyne why is that?

The only reason why I ask about the two is because will it hurt me on performance because of it flowing more then the stock one??

The LNF uses an air-to-air intercooler, therefore a heat exchanger for intercooler fluid would be usesless since the intercooler system uses no fluid.

P.S. Turbos are gay... but you guys already knew that

You're posting in the new turbo cobalt section. And yes, you'll be fine with the stock h/e from the 03 cobra. LNF = turbo 2.0 LSJ = supercharged 2.0

i'd think the biggest plus of a stock cobra H/E is that you can pick one up for $80 or so and other aftermarkets are around $200-$300. ALso, I don't think a second H/E like Fluidyne will make much difference from a stock cobra on our cars. I'd like to see a comparison though.
