Cylinder Head volume

Can someone who had their engine appart do me a HUGE favour please....

I would like to know what cc (or in inches if you like) the combustion chamber is on a stock un skimmed L61 head. It would be handy if you could do the piston volume too but its not vital as I can work that out later.

Its so that I can ensure the compression ratio is the same/better once my LSJ head is worked on..

Thanks

I think the stock head CC is about 63 on the L61

thank you

hmmm assuming the engine has a CR as per the book figure of 10:1 calculating back from the capacity of 2189 and CR of 10 gives a combustion volume of 61cc..... meaning the head gasket is not there lol

Not sure, the stock head gasket is about .042" thick FYI

stock HG is approx 6 cc (once crushed)

leads me to belive that the stock L61 head is 55cc assuming the published CR is 10 and not some value less than that.

Will measure my Saab/JSL head and see what that gives.
