whoa...what??? 2.4L supercharged...
Taken from GM.com in reference to the 2008 Cobalt:
The race-inspired Cobalt comes barreling from the gate in two packages: the 2.2L ECOTEC powered 4-door sedan and a 2.4L Supercharged 2-door coupe. The roomy interior adds to its sporty feel.
Please tell me this is a typo or something.....

click on the cobalt and read away...

Indeed, interesting. A good friend of mine has a Scion 2.4 Supercharged and those things are quite fast even though he doesn't have an intercooler. I remember he also changed the crankshaft pulley. Still a supercharged 2.4 cobalt will be a fast one as already been demonstrated by I think Beck.
If you want to be sure go the SAE website and search for 2.4L Cobalt like JonnyB did. Maybe there's a hint there.

I wouldn't worry about it; the more you know about a subject the more often you can spot typos in what's written by the supposed "experts".
For two years in a row, they had a SS 2.4 coupe at the auto show in Chicago, which was mislabelled as a 2.0 SS/SC. The car was correct; the sign out in front of it was wrong. Somewhere I have pics...
