There is a "How to", I used the GM recommended fluid. The hardest thing to do was get the the drain and fill plugs off. If you do a search it should explain how.

Edit here is a good link

I just did mine, i was super simple. Take off your drivers side tire. You will have a clear view of you tranny. Going over the rear side of the control arm you will see a screw that accepts an allen key, that will be the fill plug. Go almost directly under it and you will find the drain plug. The only thing that is a PITA about it is you need to find a rather flexible funnel to put fluid in.

It is the same instructions to do,, just take off the left front wheel ans you will see the two allen screws. One is placed next to the subframe and the other one just above it

I ended up using the gm fluid to be on the safe side. You need 2 bottles of it. The manual has the part number and exactly how much is needed.

I'm wondering if Royal purple will help quiet down these noise makers . Anyone notice any change in that area?
