bounced on rev limiter

how bad is it to bounce the rev limiter a couple times on stock ss/sc ..i let my cousin drive my car and he bounced 3rd it was like for 2 sec..the car drives fine so i didnt get mad...but could he have done anything to the car

its not gonna hurt it if you accidentally do it rarely.

but just be aware that its something you want to avoid doing.

I try to avoid the RL whilegoing wot. Knowing that the tach lags a bit behind the actual engine rpm in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, from the motor revving up so fast, I watch the tach and shift at 6100-6200, and that's about 6400 rpm actually. Never hit the RL in 4th ... or 5th.
