nwe to threads, just some gen questions

hey everyone...just wanted to say whats up. i just my CDL so i decided on getting a dope looking car thats newer that i could make look hot as ****. Im not interested in making it faster..im more for all sho and some go

anyway, im getting out of the honda scene after having to replace my block 3 times from cracked sleeves

im lookin to get an LS or an LT

so i had a few questions....

1. What kinda problems should i look out for on cobalts? like how to keep them goin forever.

2. I was thinking about getting 19's but i see some people on the wheel thread have 20's. what would be better for daily driving...19's?

3. whats the big dif between the ls/lt? i looked at specs but dont see wtf is the dif.

ive been trolling these boards for long enough...so i thought id finally join. I ****** love cobalts with no wings too!

The only difference between the LS version and the LT version are the trim packages. Drivetrain is the same but the level of extra options increases. You could go with the LTZ which has leather seats, onstar, sunroof, chrome trim etc.

20's will look absolutely rediculous on a 2.2 i would recommend def. NOT getting even 19's. if you go any bigger than stock make sure you get lowering springs, and a body kit would help a lot. the 2.2 has crazy wheel gap and looks like a monster truck as it is. you don't want to make it worse.

19s would be hot, but why dont you spend the bit more and pick up a used ss/sc?

i love when people say money is not an issue, yet they are trying to make $14,000 cars amazing. oh well, guess i would just rather startout with a badass car...

def. dont put 20's, 18's are plenty big with a drop and the right size tire.

19's will still be rediculous even with lowering springs. they're too big for the lines of the car.

if you want SMART SPENDING, then dont go buy an entry level econobox and try to make it look like a high dollar car.

no i got a car that was in my price range, and im not trying to dump thousands of dollars into it to make it look like something its not. hence why my car has like less than a grand in total exterior mods

well im sure if you had the money to spend you would. thats what makes us different. Im buying a decent car, and putting rims on it. wow. thats sooo making it look like a more expensive car lol. the reason its being lowered is so i dont look like im ridin high.

and the cf hood i want? wow a whole 700$.

its my car and my money so keep your negativity to yourself please.

dude you never said all you wanted to do was put wheels on it and lower it. i would have never said anything bad if you had. those are great mods for just cleaning up a car's appearance. you said money is not an issue so what should i do. hence why i suggested you should not start with a cheap econobox.
