My tires are pooched, again!
Ive gone through a total of 2 sets of pirellis. Right now my car is sitting on rosso's and there is no tread what so ever and you can see THREAD purging from the tire. I am pissed, I am in university and can't afford to buy tires all the fycking time. Its not like I am doing burnouts or screeching the tires at every light, i beleive its because I kept them on during the winter season? Is it my poor choices or do these tires just burn like paper?
right, i would have never gone with the russos again man, overpriced crap is all they are, i mean i can take a poop on my rims and i bet that would last longer then them damn "pirellis". only thing your paying for is the name on them. i got kdws and couldnt be happier.
Huh.
I have 45K mikes and have replaced 2 tires in the life span of the car.
Shame on me, I dont rotate my tires, but my back tires are original with almost all of their tread.
Keep an eye on your pressure. That can hurt tire life.
As can an out of whack alignment.

Those particular pirellis are crappy tires. Getting about anything different will be an upgrade. Weather doesn't' affect tire wear really, unless your tires are slipping excessively.
If your lowered I'd suggest Yokohama Parada Spec 2 or Nitto Neogen. If you want somethign a bit more grippy Nitto 555, BFG KDW, Kumho Esca, or any spec race series tire will make you more than happy.
