I saw a 100% stock 03 cooperS run a 14.9 at the track a few weeks ago.

 

I believe it. The thing you have to keep in mind with the MCS is the people that are serious about racing it are going to buy the basically gutted model. My friend did and hers weighs 2550 with her in it. Another friend bought and equipped hers for luxury and it weighs 2925 with her in it. That's a huuuuuge difference in power to weight.

On average I'd say 14.9-15.5.

That sounds about right. I pulled 2 cars on a stock one in my 2.4 running I/E/T.

 

That must be for the base, SS/SC without driver should be around 2870.

As for the MCS, the sunroof alone adds I believe it's 200lbs. It pretty much takes up the entire roof. They can get a beefed up stereo with CD changer, heavier wheels, etc. The weight piles on QUICK. They can go from quick/nimble cars to little piggies REALLY REALLY quickly.
