Well, "I'm so sick" of people who aren't man enough to admit when they really don't have enough technical experience/DECADES drag racing experience to even be asking the question of "whether or not a clutch is good."
So everybody here who has AT LEAST more than one decade of drag racing experience at a track AND has won at least one trophy in Bracket Racing (as I have) please answer the poll.
(my guess is the number is going to be very, very, low)

thats kind of a biased poll, option "a" says the clutch sucks, and option B is sarcastic and would make you feel stupid for picking it... why dont you make a poll that says, how much do you hate this clutch: a lot? or tons?
If you're tired of hearing people complain, don't click on clutch threads. If you want to help these guys get better, go to a local meet and show them. These polls won't solve anything.
I think the clutches are "alright", certainly not "good".
They will hold up for an experienced driver under occasional abuse.
But, for someone who can't drive a clutch well they are going to have issues. If the car is constantly driven hard regardless of skill...the clutch should certainly be replaced.
A good driver with a non defective clutch should get quite a few miles out of the stocker though.

lmfao this was my first stick car, i have probably made more passes on the cobalt than 95% of the people on here, have 52,000 miles, and am still on stock clutch. im 21, and this is the first car i have ever raced. and if you want to use "trophies" as a measure of skill i can handle that too. gay ass thread
12 yr;s racing experience, few bracket racing trophies, But I can't go with either votes in your poll.
It's a good clutch for stock, and actually will hold some decent power. Problem is it doesn't take well to being slipped out on launches (which is why I just roll off the line) I'm putting down over 350whp now on my cobalt for @2+ months, still has never slipped, ran a few passes on slicks, still never slipped. But your rev up at the line and let off the clutch slow, then it's gonna be toast. It's not a drag racing clutch nor is our gearing optimum for drag racing (well 2-4 is) I dunno, I'm tired and at work, sorry for the meandering thoughts

Well no racing expierence nor any trophies, but in the last 15 years after having 6 different cars with a clutch, this one has lasted the longest so far.......68k.....still waiting for the inevitable, I know it will happen, it always does. *knock on wood*
