My car is sitting in the garage as we speek. im throwing the 2.0L ss engine in and a manual tranny it will be done in 2 weeeks. my dads friend work on cars like that so he is doing it for me and everything. it will be a sleeper now

 

you have more parts than just the engine and tranny, right? you have all the electrical components, harnesses, ecm, all that crap? you need a LOT more than just the engine and tranny, hope you have them too!

should probably also upgrade your brakes, suspension, maybe axles depending on what you plan on doing besides that. they're not meant to hold that much power.

 

There Is A Lot Of Additional Cooling Parts Required As Well Make Sure You Have Everything First Or You May End Up Sol

no i got everything needed it took a while to get everything. After it get back it will be converted to five lug. and ss axles.

i dont know how much you spent but wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy an SS?
and you should have waited for the turbo version.

turbos are so much easier to tune and they make more power

Honestly, yes. I remember a while back Jackalope and I got to pwn a moron lying about how "fast" his car was posting fake timeslips, etc.

I understand what your saying... but this is a slightly different situation. Seems like he is just posting because he is pumped of what he is doing and just telling us since he might be the first to do it (not sure).

hahahaha i believe i remember that... lets also talk about the guy who said the shop could custom tune his 2.2l cobalt with hp tuners us using a modified version of the cavi tune...

then he said he had it done and he could "FEEL" the power difference... lol

 

Don't get me wrong I'd love to see it too. But unless you're using stolen parts, you can't get EVERYTHING you need for $2k....or even close to $2k. I'm not doubting he's making an attempt, I just think his parts list is going to come up a little short.
