Going swimming in my cobalt!

OK well I have an 05 ss/sc and there is a lake on the passenger side floor. I pulled out the carpet to see where its coming from but i found nothing. I would take it to the dealer but I dont have a warrenty and im jobless. Is there anyone out there that could shed some light on the situation?

either your a/c drain is blocked or cabin filter is really dirty or the seal under the cowl in misaligned try those three i would first start with the a/c drain and blow it out with air

i will try all of those suggestions but where is the ac drain and cabin filter? And also it did rain pretty hard the past two days. Im thinking its coming from underneath the cowl but what should i be looking for when i take it apart?

I had a little puddle on my floor last month - I took it into the stealership - they water tested it and resealed the trim molding under the cowl - $250 labor

i had the same problem on my car the tsb doesnt fix the problem, it drips water on the passenger floor if u keep @ any setting above the foot vent the a/c will turn automatically even if dont have the button on(this is in the manual btw)and u have the temp setting to hot what would u think is going to happen(heat+cold=condesation)so its dripping more water than is supposed to and thats why it drips inside .avoid using these settings for long periods of time!! 10 min max let me know if this info help u?

yeah its not really a little drop here and there. It rained all day on thursday, friday the carpet was soaked, so i took it out and there was a lot of water. there has to be a huge leak but where. i thought it was coming from where the e-brake cable goes into the floor but that wasnt it.

yea they covered mine under warranty, but with GM recognizing the problem they should fix it for free or for next to nothing even if you dont have your warranty anymore

Is this in the passenger front of passenger rear? I found the floor in front of the rear passenger soaked, but not the front.

07 LT - so... it doesn't seem to fall under the TSB.
