Atco Time for ma 08 TBSS...

For all those that are interested in a little proof as to what a bone stock 5k pound SUV is capable of with ONLY removing the spare tire..Here ya go..

Here are my numbers

Relative Humidity was 64
Absolute Baro was 29.17

1st Run
60'....2.111
330...5.783
1/8...8.787
MPH..81.87
1000.11.419
1/4...13.66
MPH..101.09

2nd Run
60'....2.063
330...5.749
1/8...8.757
MPH..81.79
1000.11.378
1/4...13.61
MPH..101.51

3rd Run
60'....2.023
330...5.707
1/8...8.715
MPH..81.83
1000.11.335
1/4...13.56
MPH..101.64

4th Run
60'....2.030
330...5.706
1/8...8.710
MPH..81.86
1000.11.313
1/4...13.53
MPH..102.05

The first three runs I think the trans was a bit heat soaked. I had been driving for a couple hours running errands and she didn't get any down time before running. There was a 1-2 slight hesitation which went away for the last run after I let her sit for about an hour or so. That also netted me my fastest run. I think that she may have had a 13.4 in her, if I staged a bit higher (shootin for a 1.9 60') and the trans was nice and cool, but people started breaking and I was WAY in the back of the pack, so I called it a night.

Sorry guys, yeah she's RWD...Saves me about 600lbs, and I can still get some damn good traction.

Yeah, the Cobey was a couple tenths faster, but I can have this beast in the 12's with a Tune, CAI, and E-fans. My boy told me that with that weather and a tune, I WILL see 13.2's

Nah, you can get em in AWD or RWD. It's said to be tougher to find the RWD versions. Hell, mine is race ready. No sunroof, no leather, no AWD....She has TONS of potential. No pun intended.

My brother has yet to run his at the track since it has been cold outside but I will try to get him to go. He has Tune, CAI, and Catback. Next is the E-Fans and then a cam. Nice runs non the less, these things are mean.

Oh yeah and Reign that is the SRT-8 Jeep your thinking oh, w/ the Trailblazer you can get it how you want it

i'm not sure, but i think my s/c is an eaton M112, that might be nice for a t.b. SS once i go to a kenne bell. (p.s. i'm not a dick, i give parts away at no charge.. but i dont ship, wich wouldnt be an issue.) no one wants my cobalt e. manifold, stock springs or stock injectors. i've made a couple threads saying how someone can just come and get them.. but no one replies

I know of a guy that is going with an Eaton 122 I believe it was. 10's and 11's are not all that tough to hit in these.

Excellent runs, that's better than most TBSS's I've seen stock.

Definitely get a tune, get the TM removed and add a little timing and you'll be consistantly in the low
13's.

If you're interested in a blower, check out the Radix MP112 or MP122!

That's cool...I believe mine had a 13.4 in her, but people started breaking and delaying the track and I was WAY in the back of the line. By the time I were to had made it back to the front, my trans would have been heat soaked I'm sure of it. Ah well, next...TUNE!! At least

I'm using Matt at Tune Time Performance. He's gonna be doing all of my non warranty work that I can't do on my own. He specializes in TBSS's, and has a built AWD one with a turbo, so I FULLY trust him and his people. Great place to hang out at too.
