Yours must be ungodly fast.

I don't like Dodge, I'm GM through and through, not to mention that I am driving a 5K pound SUV that managed a 13.53 at 102mph bone stock...I should have known that there would be people coming into this thread to ruin it for others. All I wanted to do, was to show ya'll the potential of a heavy ass GM AMERICAN MADE SUV, stock that is. This isn't me bragging, this isn't me trying to start ****, I was just posting up how well these do at the track and to show that they are underestimated almost as much as the Cobalts are.

Oh, and lsjwannabe...You don't even know Tony, how you gonna call him a dick?? I PERSONALLY know him and know that he's good peeps. He voiced his opinion, showed some love towards my times and my move to the TBSS and that was that.

Laloosh, you would be surprised how well this thing actually handles. I never said that it could out handle your ride nor any Vettes. Damn, how did my thread go from me getting congrats on the good times, to people bashing because I have a 5 thousand pound SUV with 20" wheels running 13.5's with no mods what so ever??

hes GM through and through for one, it is a way more practical DD than the GC, its cheaper, and you cant argue with the LS(X) aftermarket. any more questions?

a tbss can be had for under $30,000. do you even have an idea of the support behind the ls2 community? ss can tow ****, can be taken offroad, etc.

do you have any idea about the srt aftermarket? Tow ****? no it cant' but i dont really car about towing or offroading. If i were to buy a car liek that all i would care about would be family and winter. I don't know too much about either truck, but from basic reading i have found the srt to be faster....I could be wrong

SRT stock for stock is faster. Pricewise, the TBSS is much cheaper (fully loaded TBSS can be gotten for $37-38K, SRT more like $44K). TBSS is more of a DD due to what was said above by hatrickstu. Aftermarket support for the TBSS is pretty big and growing each day, unlike the SRT. The SRT also is not "tuning" friendly from what I hear compared to the TBSS.

i respect what the trailblazer is and what most of the communtiy does not someone who owns a stalled auto and calls out any fwd cobalt to pull a 1.76 60 ft. He is a dick, you know what i did when i ******* raped a tbss pulled over, talked to the guy he was cool as hell i posted it a few people called bs he chimed in a let them know what happend. He is a vendor over there and makes cai's, you may know him as IEATSRT8's. And that was a long time ago. Do i have respect for him, hell yes.do i have respect for tony hell no plain and simple he is a dick.

and just in case...before the head bashing starts, my only problem with the cobalts "is" that they're FWD.. i had a FWD car (GP GXP that ran 13.6 bone stock) and gave up after extensive research into how difficult they are to make fast and still be driven around running anywhere near the times they run all slicked up... for example my truck ran 12.6 on the stock 20's with a 1.76 60'... try doing that on stock tires in ANY FWD car...

All he said, was for anyone to try to run a 1.76 60' on stock tires in any FWD car. He wasn't calling the Cobalt any bad names, nor was he bashing anyone in particular. If you read in bold, you will notice that he did own a FWD vehicle and AFTER extensive research he found that it was too much of a pain to try to make it fast and still be a good daily driver and run anywhere close to the track times on the street without slicks. Not sure where you get that he is a dick from him challenging anyone to try to get a 1.76 60' on stock tires. I am more then sure that if someone were to manage that feat, he would give due props.

Yeah, I know of the guy that you are talking about. He has his own brand of CAI that he is selling for the TBSS's as well as some other products. Seems like a cool cat.

Wow this thread is ridiculous. Everything mentioned is an apples to oranges comparison...Howabout we generalize this whole thread and focus on what the subject is about and the forum room it's posted in:

Drag Racing

How the hell did we got frome "Stock TBSS running awesome stock times" to "TBSS isnt that impressive, if the cobalt had traction it would rape the TBSS"? This makes no sense, the TBSS is an awesome SUV, no if an or buts about it, end of story.

Nice times and I wish my bro would take his to the track :/
