how different are the magnaflow cat backs on the 2.0 and the 2.4?

the reason im asking this is becasue i dont want to buy the 2.4 2.25 inch exhaust cuz that would be no good on a turbo application that im planning on doing, i have confirmed that the 2.0 exhaust from them is 2.5 inch which would be fine for a turbo application. i just need to know how hard it would be to put that exhaust on the 2.4 and if it would need some custom welding or what not? thanks. pictures of underneath a 2.0 and underneath a 2.4 would be awesome but i doubt anyone has those yet lol

The 2.4 SS uses the same exhaust as the SS/SC

are you %100 sure or just guessing? that would be weird if so that a forced induction engine has the same exhaust as the n/a engine does but i hope u are right so i can bolt on the ss/sc magnaflow exhasut for my turbo

If you are going turbo, you will need an whole new exaust. The exaust on a turbo car bolts onto the turbine. And when you do go turbo, and boosting past 1 bar (14.7 psi) you might want to consider 3' piping.

Bottom line : Save your money. Don't buy it ...yet

im not looking for the highest numbers in the world what i am looking for is a free flowing exhaust of at least 2.5 inches with nice close to stock looks on the tip and a nice non ricey sound and magnaflow seems to fit the bill for that happy meduim, so i will gwet the 2.0 exhaust from magnaflow and have my shop guy fit it on if it needs any modifications

The Cat-Back has nothing to do with Turbo or not the down pipe does.

so you are saying that if i have a 2.5 inch down pipe and a 2 inch inch cat back that it would give just as high gains as having a 2.5 inch from the turbo back? that doesnt make sense to me, exhaust on a turbo vehicle is more than relevant

My comment was based on this post:

The Cat-Back is seperate from what will be attached to the turbo so it doesn't matter.
