Hey guys so Im about to do my lowering springs this afternoon and While im doing it I figured i would take off my aftermarket 17s and put the stockers back on, Granted my stockers are the conties because I have an ls...Here in STL we get alittle snow over the winter but not a WHOLE lot... enough for the salt to be put on the road...

so what do you guys think? keep the aftermarket ones on... or take em off and put the stockers back on....?

No matter what you do your gunna possibly need an aligment on your car since your loweing it that is if you wanna save your tires

 

trust me im getting them done at dobbs for free along with an alignment...

 

I had better luck with the cont in the snow then in the rain... they are surprisingly OK in the snow.

both. lmao. noisy ass tires, with weak sidewalls. i would have gone with something a bit better.

i work at one of the busiest Americas tire stores in california and we sell about 1 set of those a month.

 

well they were in my range so... they were about 98 bucks a tire... with tax...so they fit what i needed...

 

yeah i hear ya. just save up for a better set next time. your entire investment (car) and your life are riding on your tires... you should go all out on them imo.

 

so now i have to wait till sunday to get the springs on.... great lol

He has a private lable michelin tire on there. How are they on your car by the way. I would take my after market **** off if I was you. You know those roads will be salted down. I used to live near Ft. wood.
