Okay, for the past few weeks, I've been having a weird glitch going on with the car.

This is whats going on before the glitch happens. Radio on, probably just a few clicks high is all, and lights are on cause its dark out. Usually sitting in traffic at a stop light.

Every now and then sitting in traffic at night the lights would get dim for just a sec and then get bright again, its hard to notice this but it does it quick, then shortly after that, the light is green and I gotta drive now. So when i put it in First I get a loud burst of music and a jump in RPMs when I have the clutch down and put it in gear. It only happens after the lights go dim, but it isn't something I can repeat at a moments notice.

Any help?

Alternator / voltage regulator issue maybe?

 

are you talking about all the lights on the dash or just gauges or both ?

well it wouldnt hurt to check the wires or bulbs for anything if you already havent done so

 

I've gone over the car like four times, nothing seems out of the ordinary. I'm just trying to figure out why after the headlights flicker like that, that as soon as I depress the clutch, slip it into first without applying any gas, that the rpms jump and I get shot in the ears with a loud blast of music????????????????????
