do a search (from the bar above, between 'new posts' and 'user cp') on "intercooler" and you'll find multiple posts pertaining to it in one way or another.

but here is a good one in particular:
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...01&postcount=6

Maybe a person could customize to have a larger radiator for the intercooler, thus providing more cooling ability and keep the air temp lower somewhat..

You have a front mount water to air intercooler. It is right between radiator and A/C radiator. It is hard to see but if you look below the car and follow the lines you will find it. Also they is a option in one of the build books that describes a 2 pass and 3pass intercooler system.

Technically that an aftercooler. The intercooler is part of the manifold it actually cools the air. Not to be a jerk, but I have been "corrected" a few times for that.

A front mount intercooler would take some very interesting plumbing work.

No need to cool down the already cool air coming from our superchargers!

Someone needs to design an icebox for this car. That would really help for the hot summer days at the track.

Unless you plan to Bi-Charge or Up Shrinking the Pulley, there should be no reason except "For Looks" to get a FMIC.

I do not think puting an intercooler befor the SC is a good idea. I realy do not think you will gain any HP and you could cause less air to flow over the radiators for the engin, a/c and aftercooler. Modifing the stock aftercooler to be a 2 or 3 pass system would be best. The net cool down would be better that way.......

Just a thought, If you were to remove the factory Heat exchanger in the front and replace it with several of these in paralell, the coolant would dwell longer in the cooler and give up more of it's heat. In theory, the Liquid Intercooler would work better.

I think the stock radiator cools vary good. A to or 3 pass system just increases the flow rate in the aftercooler system so that the net temp of the water is colder and in turn the air gets cooler. Some one correct me on this if I am wrong....

Ice Box is the way to go if your looking for some Track Times.
My cuzin has a Ice Box IC on his 03 Cobra, it does huge wonders.
They main benefits are that on a 50 degree F day, the intake temps are around 37 degrees.
This makes the computer add timeing and fuel in tern giving you power.
