I have been having a wierd issue since I put my exhaust on. I don't think it would be directly related though. I shifted into third and went to show my rider the sound of the exhaust. It was a little rainy, so it starts out pulling and then my rpms just shoot up and it makes a high pitched noise (possibly from the sudden high rpm) before I let off and wonder wtf.

Ok, so I am driving again in 2nd getting on the highway. I give it gas to get into traffic and again rpms shoot up and redline me. Then again the other day I get the same issue.

The first time, I got a cell thrown for vehicle speed sensor P0503. Each time there were lower traction roads, so that makes me think maybe tires were spinning. It didn't happen until over 3k rpm though and well after shifting. Is it related to the cel and a sensor? It is just low traction and too much power? Is it the clutch slipping? other possible cause?

I never ride the clutch and always engage it firmly, so I don't see how I could have damaged it enough to slip if that was the cause though.

Definately sounds like the clutch is slipping OR maybe the tires or just losing traction and spinning.

I finally got an ok day, so decided to take the car out after work. I ran through 2nd and 3rd to see if it slipped at all. I didn't have any issues at all with the clutch, so if it is slipping it is random. I think I'll lean toward road conditions for now.

I did have a horrible issue happen though. On my first time going through 2nd it just stops at 6k RPM. I mean it just completely stops going up no limitor or anything and I get a loud pop near my header. I let off the gas right away and was really worried. No noise from the engine bay just down in the exhaust. I hope it was just from the car sitting. I took it through the gears after that with no issue. I was really worried I was going to have some noticable effect of damage that just happened. Any idea what did happen?
