the trap was mostly due to your 60ft time

slipping the clutch some as you launch you should be able to pull off 2.3 60ft's I did it all the time but with a stock clutch second gear always slipped

the more you spin of the line the higher your trap

so you could essentially have gone 13.9 with a lower trap speed

buwhahaha

sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo true.

not sure how many times he has to be told he's dead wrong before it sinks in.

to the OP, the **** 60' was probably from a larger amount of wheel hop/spin i'm assumeing?

the more spin you have during a run the higher your trap is but your ET gets worse.

Um...I've only raced at the track ONCE and that was when i had an 05 LS Sedan Auto...and now that i got my 2.4 5spd i'm anxious to go this summer but can someone explain to me what the 60ft is? I ASSUME its how many seconds it takes for you to 60ft? But since I am a 2.4 my 60ft should be less than a 2.0 right? Whats a good 60ft for a 2.4 and a bad one? Thanks!

Yeah....

Thiers a blue Cobalt around here who is convinced that dumping the clutch at 5k rpm and spinning out of the hole is the best thing to do. Claims he gets 13.2 in the 1/4 with just a stage 2 and exhaust doing this.

Of course he's gone thru 3 stage 3 clutches

it always slipped because you are slipping the clutch terribly. *knock on wood* im on stock clutch, have close to 200 passes and 57,000 miles.
