glad you guys are having fun with my FACTS. Check my cooling mods write up in my sig to see the gains for yourself.

In case you don't want to look for yourself, I went 14.8@94 stock, to a 14.4@101 with mods being cobra heat exchanger, cutout, and a raised rev limit.

I'm not trying to defend myself. Just posting my facts. You do what you want with them. Throw them in the trash for all I care.

to 14.7@100 at the start of the second season

wanna know what my mod changes were?
none.

your numbers are interesting ralli....but they arent PROOF of anything....thats why you have these arguments.

not really....
we have multiple people who have run that low stock.
its rare, but has happened
there are unconfirmed claims that people have run in the 13s stock.

dude, that just means you didn't know how to drive your car, and you started to learn. I've been going to the track for about 7 years now. I drive my car the same everytime. My first day at the track in the cobalt was bone stock and I was figuring out how to drive this thing, once I figured out how to drive it, I've driven it the same ever since. Now launching is a whole nother story. But that's why I have slicks now.

meh, not gonna get into this debate again ralli.
the math and physics of it is plain to see. people can make up their own minds on the truth.

agree to disagree.

People have been using meth since ww2 to double the horsepower on planes. PLEASE don't try to tell me that I'm not gaining anything from cooling the air that this heaton is making.

PLEASE dont try and tell me a heat exchanger gives the same results as spraying water/meth.

they are completely different.

oh and btw....i never said you wont gain ANYTHING.

if i thought that, i wouldnt have a cobra H/E strapped to the front of my car, or a meth kit in my living room would I.

I'm not saying they give the same exact results. but the do work somewhat the same. LOWERING TEMPS. THat's how I used my meth anyway, to lower temps.

ralli, you ran at 2 different tracks on 2 different days, weather has a effect on perfomance. Meth alone is not going to give you extra power as it acts as a fueling agent and would only make you run richer in some cases loosing power. The tune is were it is at

lol. I'm tired of trying to prove my side of the argument. I've done plenty of tests out here against cars and the results are crazy.

Just to illustrate what I mean. I have a friend with I/H/E 2.5" pulley, Cobra H/E, hp tuned, engine mounts, suspension, I may be missing some other stuff. Anyways, when I'm off the meth, he pulls me pretty hard. On the meth, he only gets about 1.5 cars out in front.

There are other tests that we've done too. but I got other important things to get done today.

did you consider that with a 2.5, the first run his IAT2s were likely reasonable.
and the second run, he would be heatsoaked to all hell, and thats why you kept up?

your thinking is ignoring all the possible reasons why things happen, and your just going straight for the "my mods made it happen"
