Just got Bridgestone Winterforce....

I finally broke down and bough 2 Winterforce (195/60R15) tires today, and wow! I couldnt belive the difference! i wasnt going to get them becuase my dad/friends didnt think i needed them, and i didnt want to spend the money. I couldnt believe how well they worked. If anyone is wondering about snow tires.... i guarantee you wouldnt be dissappointed.... i paid 154.60 mounted/balanced/installed on my stock wheels....

well i have never really tried any other winter tires, but these seem to really work... i was on a snow covered road, and held it to the floor in second and third, and it would bairly spin unlike the stock ones. and i sat on a hill beside my buddy in a cavalier (stock tires), and he spun out and didnt even move and i went right up it........... How do those tires perform?

I was about to say, that you should get all 4,
but since it appears your not driving the ss/sc, it shouldnt be to bad, since your rears are all-season anyway.

but it should be said, that its not a good idea to have grippy fronts, and regular tires in back.
your lateral control is significantly reduced, but your ability to build speed isnt.
bad combination

(mainly applies to the guys with the ss/sc stock tires though)

well we just got hit over 13.5inch of snow so no matter what you drive you will slide unless your 4x4, but they do very well, but at the same time if i want them to spin i can make them spin easy

yeah like i said, you already have some all-seasons in the back so its not a huge deal for ya.

but imagine an ss/sc, with nice grippy tires pullin you through a corner real great.
but back tires that might as well be mcdonalds food trays.....

well...you get the picture lol

They are Firestone (Winterforce). I bought four with steelies. They are a great tire. lots of grip and I have had about 20 people comment on how aggressive they look. haha

The Winterforce tires are more aggressive than the Blizzaks, but overall, the Blizzaks are definitly better.......especially on ice.
