Thoughts on this Tire/Size
Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position (Ultra High Performance All-Season)
Size: 225/40ZR18
Stock Rims, No Lowering...
Is that a good tire / size? I want a bit wider then stock... but no rubing and no noticably bulging...
I found this site: http://www.web-cars.com/math/tiresize.html and it says vs. stock, my speedo will be exactly 1 mph to fast at 45mph. (Meaning shows 45mph when I am actually going 44mph)
What do you think?
EDIT : I want to stay will the Best All seasons... to deal with the weather year round in N.J.
Thanks,
Rich

You might look into a 225/45/18 instead, I believe that's closer to the stock size. My brother has 225/40's on his SS/SC, they don't buldge too noticeably but at 75 mph his speedo reads about 79...
If you decide to go with the 225/40, another A/S tire too look at if you havn't allready would be the Micheline Pilot Sport A/S. They are pricey, but Michelin makes nice tires. I have no personal experience with either the Michelin or the Bridgestone your looking at though.

If you haven't looked into a set of winter tires and summer tires yet, instead of trying to find an all season tire, it's worth at least looking.
