For those with an Aem dryflow on an Injen CAI

Don't worry, this isn't another typical intake thread

Anyway, I will be getting an injen cold air intake and putting an AEM dryflow filter on it instead of the standard injen filter. Does anyone know the part number for the AEM dryflow filter that will fit the injen intake? I'm not sure of the diameter of it.

I'm going to get the injen hydro shield as well, are they all universal size and will fit the filter?

Lastly, where's the best place to purchases these things (price wise)?
This is all for an SS/SC...

Searched and couldn't find the answers, so thanks in advance

go to injen's site, find your intake and size, its prolly 2.5. then just go to AEM's site and find the direct replacement for their intake because i believe its a 2.5 as well

From one of my old posts

"X-1013-BR
High Performance Air Filter - 2.75'' Black Filter 6'' Base/ 5'' Tall/ 5'' Top

From looking @ AEM's website the closet I found was
Part #: 21-202DK
2.75" Dryflow air filter. Short neck. 5" element.
"

It fits perfectly been running on my Injen for over 3 months.

thx
-Brad

EDIT:
FYI, the cheapest i found the cone was @ cardomain w/ free shipping took about a week 1/2 to get here but it was cheap...

I want to see how it'll work with this set up. Most people that run the dryflows rarely complain about getting CELs, so i rather go this route right now.

That's what I was looking for, thanks...
How do you like it so far? Any problems with fitment with the injen intake (scratches)

Honestly i can't tell a performance difference between the two & no fitment issues. I should have made the switch sooner. The oil'd filter took out my MAF sensor and had to get it replaced. Dryflow FTW!

thx

Haha true. I haven't had any issues with mine and a CEL, so all is good here.

BTW, just curious how your car looks and rides now? Everything still good?

you should go with the rebel autoworks 3in intake... it dosn't scratch and have fitment issues like the injen, and it comes with a dryflow filter... They are have a group buy as we speak!!

the link is https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/supporting-vendor-deals-group-purchases-133/group-buy-3-rebel-cai-86891/ if your interested
