Exclamation Nates 2.9 pulley made me lose!

Just put Nate's 2.9 pulley on while at the car show tonight.
Quick test drove it to make sure everything is running right.
Having fun at the show and a guy with a LT1 firebird wants to run.
So we line up and I launch like I always do at 2400 rpms and get on the gas like always.
I was confused as to the reason he takes off and I'm still in the same place spinning my tires!!!

So I short shift into second and catch up but he wins by 2 cars.
So I pull up and the group is talking about the run trying to figure out what happened.
One person thought tires. But then it dawned on me.

Nate's pulley due to the size and lightness = instant boost!!!!!

I can't launch like I use to!!!!!!
So I practice launch till I figured what it takes to launch with the new pulley.

So I guess what I'm trying to say is Nate:
That is one awesome pulley. I love the instant 15 pounds when I hit the gas at any gear cruzin. Thanks for the great pulley!!!!

Glad you like it, when I saw the caution sign I initially thought there was a problem with the pulley. Sorry to hear it's going to cost you a set of tires!

Wow!
I didn't even activate the Nate signal and your online!

The good thing is I already planned on getting either Falken's or BFG KDW2's come tax return so it's not an issue. I should of realized launches would be different with the pulley just didn't think it would be that different.

Again Thanks!
