Strange Noise from the Transmission

When my car idles without me pressing on the clutch....i get this strange popping crackling noise...but once i press in the clutch or my car is in gear it no longer makes this noise

Any idea what the problem might be....im going to bring it into the dealer tomorrow but i just wanna have some kind of idea what the problem might be

this is the same as mine does. I heard it may be the throw out bearing but i dont know. I plan to take it into the dealership soon to find out before i do any engine mods.

yea 2 mechanics and my dad said its most likely the throw out bearing today...
so monday im bringing it in...im just like scared to drive it now even though its been doing it for awhile...
i dont want anything else to go wrong

if its just the bearing thats bad...do i have to replace the whole clutch or no...and is this bearing covered by warrenty?

It's the slave cylinder. It sorts of squeels then when you press the clutch in it goes away or if you are in gear. I had this issue before. The problem is with GM's shitty slave cylinder design, it seems like a hit or miss with them. Over vacuum bleeding will result in failure as I have found out as well, so now I only bleed them the old school way even know it takes longer. It should be covered under warranty since your car is still under warranty. It will take them a day or two to do the job though since the whole car has to get torn apart to remove the tranny to get to it.

my first spec stage 2+ had a noise problem when letting it idle free spinning. If you have an aftermarket clutch then the dealer isn't probably going to help you much
