Planning out my exhaust system...????

Just got my windows tinted and installed some new headlights today. YAY! But it started raining so no pics yet.

Next up, I'm planning out/pricing my exhaust system.
I'm a lil confused when it comes t the down pipe so maybe someone can help out?
Also, if anyone knows of better prices than what I have listed, let me know please.

Here's what I have planned so far...

Header - GM Extrude Honed Manifold, part # 19131972
best price found is crateenginedepot 249.95

Downpipe - Not sure

Cat-back - Gm performance exhaust, part # 17802111
best price found is crateenginedepot 357.30

I'm looking at the cobalt-addiction XTC downpipe so a few questions on that...
1. I want the one with the cat coverter to keep my car street legal, right?
2. Would the 2.5" or 3" piping be better? Note. the GM catback is 2 1/4".
3. Would it be better to install a 2.0L downpipe instead of the XTC?
4. Would you recommend any other downpipe?

Also what gaskets, bolts, etc will I need to install all this?
Thanks for any help.

If I were you I would get the 2nd gen CA header...the GM ome IMO is a huge rip

Get a catted 2.5" DP

The CA header comes with gaskets and studs, just re-use the bolts or buy same sized ones

I was actually looking at that CA header at first.
The price is a lil higher than the GM header.
Why do you say the GM header is a rip?
Better performance with the CA?

Thanks

*edit*
Also looking at a used INTENSE header and downpipe.
Anyone know anything about them? Are they decent or crap or what?

The GM header isn't a header.

It is the stock manifold honed and polished...

The pacesetter header requires a special downpipe...

K, so I go with the CA header, the CA downpipe and the GM performance exhaust.
Am I missing anything?
Would love to hear about the INTENSE exhaust parts if anyone has any info.
Link to the INTENSE parts here...
