there aren't any kits specifically for the cobalt for the fender, just full racing stripe kits which are not worth the money. Custom FTW, I may actually do the fender stripes soon since i have a lot of extra vinyl left over from when i did my racing stripes.

^^ Bro, i have racing stripes with the fender stripes and they sort of clash.. Not the best combo IMO.

I bought a sheet of black vinyl from a local vinyl shop and cut them my self. Very easily done.

I've been debating them ever since I went to Massachusetts and saw a Cobalt SS like mine with them. I have a picture somewhere..... Sounded modded and could very well be a member on here.

Go to the auto trim design site and get the ones for a C6. They have about 100 color choices. I got the ultra metallic red.

Do any of you know what these even stand for? lol. The amateur racers on the racetracks would have these 2 stripes on their drivers side fenders to let other drivers know that they were amateurs. Do YOU want to be an amateur? I think not. lol. My cousin has some on his Mustang GT and they're very nice. He actually painted his. It looks VERY nice that way. But it's obviously extremely permanent. lol.

Notice. Very fast track cars. We're talking about alot of people doing this to base model Cobalts. lol. I mean, I'm never one for putting down someones car for it's style if THEY like it, I'm just saying.

I certainly get the idea. My cousins Mustang has a yellow with black accent thing going. It looks great. I'm just saying. I could give a **** less who does it, but prepare for someone to flame you if you do it to a 2.2 Cobalt.
