a lil grinding

okay so i got my car outta the body shop a week ago an before that i never noticed a grinding noise when shifting. 1 or two days after i start to notice that going into 2nd it grinds sometimes unless i make sure to pull down all the way an actually make sure its in gear before letting the clutch out.. same with 4th gear also. anyone have any ideas?? could something have been bumped loose or need to be adjusted. it shifts fine into 1st 3rd an 5th an reverse. an still runs smooth lol i guess. any help would be appreciated. I still have my warrenty cause all i have is airbox mod an catback exhaust which they know about an still worked on my car already with the timing chain tensioner collapsing an bull ****. Plus they never sealed the valve cover right so i leaks a bit so it has to go in anyways. but i was wondering what yall might think of my trans

What exactly was damaged in the accident. I will be honest with you, I have workede at a collision center for almost 6 years now and the only car that came in need of transmission work due to a wreck was hit so bad the steering wheel was 3 inches away from the drivers seat. Get my drift.

Yeah, that's probably going to be your best bet. Take it back to the shop that fixed it, explain to them what is going on. If they can relate it to the accident then they will submit a supplement to your insurance company. It is up to the insurance company as to whether or not it will be covered though, not the shop. All the shop can do is tell them what is wrong with the car.
