cant forget Diablo I either

I was trying to stay out of the semi-recent games as much as I could at this point, lol. I loved both Diablo games, but, I have to say, the first one had a much better feel to it for me. Diablo II played better and obviously had better graphics and more items, but, I don't ever miss the game like the first. Mostly, I wished they had implemented some of II's features in I. Especially... RUN. lol.

yeah, it was a very rare game, i only know one guy who had it. right up until SNES games came off the shelves, a new copy of earthbound stayed at $80 CDN. (if i remember right) i had to download an emulator/rom to play it cause its just too rare to find. but its not the same as firing up the snes and having the controller in your hand.

1. PS1/Tie between Twisted Metal 1 & 2. 2 was def better, but 1 was my most anticipated game ever when I first bought my PS1, and 1 also introduced the series.

2. PS1/Jet Moto. Badass. End of story. Jet Motor 2 & 3 blew though.

3. NES/Dragon Warrior. Big epic game, shot from above. Your a dragon, you get tons of powerups to become an even more badass multi headed crazy colored dragon, and you kill tons of shit, like giant mutant plants that are really pissed off.

Best Multiplayer games: Super Smash Bros., Goldeneye and Halo 1/2/3.

If I had to pick one game for the best classic game ever I would choose

The original Zelda

Why? It was the first of it's kind, you started out in the middle of nowhere with no directions or clues of what to do. It was so innovative and created the market for puzzle games for years to come. Plus everyone loves the sound of the sword when it shoots plee koooo plee kooo

Also eternal champions was like the coolest fighter ever. I loved how each map had it's own fatality, the best was the burning of the witch where you knocked a guy into the tree stump and the fire burned you. The final boss was a bitch to beat too with the powers of every guy.

The original TMNT was so fucking hard it was totally frustrating

You must be thinking of a different game. Dragon Warrior was an RPG that you played that in the end of you did fight against dragons, but you never were one. I'm guessing you're thinking of the Dungeons & Dragons: Dragon Strike, but I honestly don't know.

Twisted Metal 1 may have introduced the series, but games like Atari Lynx's BattleWheels and 3DO's Crash and Burn started the Genre.

If I had to pick one game for the best classic game ever I would choose

The Original Zelda did Rock.

number 3 is not dragon warrior it's Dragon Spirit one of my all time favorite games ... did you know in the begging if you die you will be a golden dragon and will skip levels though it will be a tougher game and you will have 2 life bars. The story also completely changes.

Good call on Dragon Spirit. Looks like Dragon Strike was kinda like a knock-off with RPG elements added.

raph was the fastest swimmer and don was the most technical so I switched all the time. I usually fought with leo or mikey cus they had a larger sweep of area even though don could reach farther and raph was stronger.

I used to do that with sonic all the time. I used to think I could run as fast as he could and one time I was sad cus I knew a sonic game had come out from a magazine I had seen (sonic 3) and I didn't have any money from chores to buy it and as I walked home my mom pulled up and when I looked over she had the game in her hand I was so excited I grabbed the game and ran home even though the car probably woulda been faster.
