Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ

 

Yea, I'll go with saying that Raceway Park in Old Bridge/Englishtown NJ is your best bet. They're pretty "newb" friendly on Friday nights.

I don't know if the prices will be rasing this season but last season it was $26 to race on a wednesday night $12 to spectate

Friday nights were $20 to race and $10 to spectate.

You will need a DOT approved helmet and if you don't have one, you can rent from them for $3. If you are under 18 you will need a permission slip signed by your parents.

And apparantly a fire safe jacket if you run under 13.99 which is bs...at least everytime I go they ask me if i'm going to run faster than a 13.99 and I say no....hehe lol

im pretty sure you only need the helmet if you run in the 13's and i dont think there is anything about a fire safe jakcet? at least thats what the dude told me in an email

 

Well I know last time I went there, they asked me these questions:

Upgraded supercharger/turbo?
Will you run faster than 13.99

There was an orange balt there with a 2.5 pulley (albert). He said he had that pulley and bolt ons when they asked him if he had an upgraded supercharger and they wouldn't let him run without his own helmet and because he'd break 13.99 w/o the jacket...unless they are talking about 13.99 with the helmet.....I said no to both and ran mid 13's all night lol

 

im pretty sure if its under 14 you need the helmet, its prolly like under 13 you need a jacket or something. idk ill email them when they open for the season

For sure, you need a helmet no matter what. It's NJ LAW. My fiance worked there.

 

Definetly need a helmet no matter what at Englishtown. I'm glad to wear a helmet, fwd n/a 4 cylinder automatics can be scary!
