Injen SS Intake Page with DynoGraphs

Injen Page for SS with Dyno Graphs

Looks really good, I am thinking their MR tech will help us out quite a bit with the Lean Fuel ratios.

I am going with this Intake also, I guess it pays to wait. I think I will pick up an Injen Hydroshield to go along with it. You can never be too safe when it comes to water getting around the intake filter.

What exactly does MR technology do? I understand from the website that it makes the A/F ratio within safe limits but how come K&N or any other manufacturer didn't do this?

True. It's weird because 2 dyno graphs are shown. 1 with and 1 without MR Technology.

I was lucky enough to get in on that pre-sale and will more than happily dyno the car with the intake, but unfortunately that won't be until late March/April......damn snow!

Something to remember their are things called intellectual property rights, and Injen is not about to give away its technology breakthrough on its website (trade secrets). The Reason K and N doesn't have it I am guessing is because Injen came up with the tech first, and they wanted to differentiate itself from the others on the market. JMHO, take it with a grain of salt.

True. But it's an Intake. They say they use the MR Technology to maxamize the performance of the intake while keeping the A/F Ratio down. But what is there to an intake. A pipe, a spot for the MAF and a cone filter. Obviously they Mandrel bend the pipe to keep the velocity of the air consistant and a certain diameter. I dunno. Right now to me it's a marketing strategy. Which I would think most of us on here would think because we haven't had much success with our Homemade CAI, and K&N.

I'm definately interested in the Injen. They make wonderful stuff. But anyways for those of us planning on getting the Stage 1 or Stage 2 kit, most likely those of us with the K&N and the Homemade CAI will not be getting the CEL anymore. Hopefully. Wishful thinking.

hmm gains look good, and it looks like they richin up the air/fuel delivery but if you pay close attention to the a/f ratio between the mr and the non mr. is that on the non mr. they show highest a/f ratio of 14.X, while they don't show the highest w/ the MR tech. and it looks like it still goes as high as 14.x a/f ratio. just interesting, it actually looks like it peeks at 15.x w/ the MR tech. so thats interesting, usually injen makes great stuff and doesnt cause the cel to come on, and thats why they are popular, they make great stuff and design the intakes in a way that it doesnt make the cel to come on. and they usually garauntee no cel.

IMHO that Dyno graph doesn't look right... the Torque curve is TOOO Slanty....

The curve should be more straight....

My dyno graph I was makubg ~175 wtq at 2500 rpms.... peakeded at 201 wtq at 5000 rpms and ended at about 180 wtq at 6500 rpms...

Look at : https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l-lsj-performance-tech-47/stock-ss-dyno-4th-gear-pull-dyno-chart-no-fakeness-9339/

Thanks BoomInIt.... nice runs!!
