5spd tips

Im getting my ss 2.4 shipped tomorrow, but its been about 2 yrs since ive driven a stick regularly. I have no problem driving it, but ive never had to drive it in traffic. I wanna know wut u guys do in a 15-20 minute delay traffic setting. Do u always start in first or do u leave it in second once u stop? I have stalled 5spds out a few times and i dont wanna end up stalling it out on the highway.. so tell me if im really just freaking out or is there anything that i can do?

if your going fast enough were you can keep it in 2nd, do that. if your taking off from a stop, doing so in 2nd gear puts exessive wear on the clutch. taking off in 2nd gear is only for slippery roads (snow) and trucks with a compount low gear (for towing).
