keyless entry

I am getting the "KEY FOB BATT LOW" message when I start my car. I bought the car in March 2007 should the batteries in the keys be going dead already? If so would warranty replace them.

u can buy them..they are only 6 bux for 2 batteries,and warranty does cover the new fob,but not the battery

i wonder if theres something wrong with the key to cause the battery to go dead so quickly thought? or just got a shitty batch of batteries.

mine when out after about 5 months of owning the car,than i replaced the battery,worked fine for 1 month,than the fob took a crap on me..gm got me a new one under warranty after i replaced battery 3 times

How do you access the battery in the back? I have a super tiny flathead that isnt working, any mcgiver's out there that got creative to access the battery?
