What does a hole in no 1 piston = *UPDATE*

lots of Money
Sorry about the pictures my camera sucks

ported head, Ferra springs, 3 angle valve job

Diamond 9.5 pistons, nuetral balance shafts(no pics of these)

Golde eagle head studs

Cometic head gasket

This is for my Rebel GT-30 kit, hopefully it will arrive soon

Painted valve cover.

Also did Excedy clutch while I was at it. She has 6 miles on her so far no leaks or bad noises yet. Going to break her in with the charger for 500-1000 miles then install my Rebel kit when it comes in.

Good luck. You've got quite a bit of work into that.

I was there once I had a turbocharged 00 Z24 before this car that I blew up two engines in. The first time I was sick, the second was expected the way I treated that car. Back then HP tuners did not support Cavs so the turbo setups were not very good and I did it all on the cheap.
When this one blew up in November it just moved its build up a couple of months so it was not a big deal. I am older, wiser and have better finances since my Cav days so I hope to not destroy this one as quickly.

Matt at HTP and I talked about that at length and decided that at the power levels I will be running 9.5 is not to much. Also I got a good deal on the pistons from Turbo Tech and was able to get them in the timeframe I needed.

350 375 WHP for now
From what I have been reading I am going to have to do some fuel upgrades to go beyond that I have 60lbers now. I think I might do the Hahn intake port fueler setup and front mount to get in the 400 range. I just dont see much point in going over 400 in a fwd car. It was already a handfull with the 2.5 pulley. Speed is addictive though so Maybe I will change my mind. I have another motor I bought on Ebay in my Garage just waiting to be sleeved and go for broke.

Nice piston!!! I got one of those too!
You did a mild version of my build, looks nice. Hopefully you didn't reuse the rod bolts... they are torque to yield (one time use only).

All new bolts for the Rods, Cams, and Crank bolt.
