From what I have been reading I am going to have to do some fuel upgrades to go beyond that I have 60lbers now. I think I might do the Hahn intake port fueler setup and front mount to get in the 400 range. I just dont see much point in going over 400 in a fwd car. It was already a handfull with the 2.5 pulley. Speed is addictive though so Maybe I will change my mind. I have another motor I bought on Ebay in my Garage just waiting to be sleeved and go for broke.
Make sure you convert to a return style fuel system

Not right now it has 100,000 miles on it and it is very expensive to build these cars up.

update

Been out of town for work for a week and just got home. I had to drive it again since it has been a while. It now has 20 miles no problems with the engine it is running like a champ so far.
I did find a small leak in a coolant hose to the intercooler. I replaced the hose so we will see if it is fixed. I am going to get to 50 miles tommorrow and change the oil.

If it checks out ok at the oil change tommorrow I am going to try to get 500 mile on the new clutch as soon as possible. Look like my turbo kit will arrive soon so I want to get her broken as quickly as possible.

I am pretty sure it went because of a lean condition. Was really cold the day it went and I had not adjusted the tune for the weather in a while. I also got over aggressive with the timing

i have run up to 13.4 afr, and 23 degree's of timing without nuking anything. this is on my current setup. not current tune

if you dig up old posts people thought that pistons blew due to heat. they also thought it was number 4 to go first.

not so much.

you were not over 140 degree's on iat2 temps. lean is a relative term.

I became a victim of the timing chain tensioner. 2000 miles with no trouble at all and today the tensioner let go. It sounded like marbles in the head. I swaped the tensioner with the one from my spare engine and it sounds great and runs fine now. I am going to the dealer and get a new one anyway just to be on the safe side.

As a side note looks like my RAW turbo kit is on the way so soon there will be another T/C car on the road

I wonder if my #4 is gonna look like that when I pull it. Car is down 60psi on #4 compression, wall is scored, but otherwise fine. No oil use, runs smoothly, just sounds like a cammed idle. I will have to post up comparison pics in a week or so when I pull it down.
