Do you mean a replacement for the drums in the back? Or the victory red ss variety?

I think they mean the Victory Red SS variety is an all out, crazy setup that is costing countless sums of money!

Making a fwd car rwd is not easily done, unless you want to spend a lot of time and money in fabrication.

as far as the supercharger goes, that might not cost too much... i am not sure if there is a kit for the 2.2 from gm... i know there is an ecotec supercharger from GM performance. Can anyone help him with the application for that supercharger?

i think you'd be better off just buying a rwd car, maybe an s2000 or a mustang or something.

if you want a (cheap) RWD cobalt...

step 1: get a junked 240sx or fox-body mustang chassis
step 2: remove all the body panels of that car and all the body panels of your car
step 3: try making your panels fit over the new chassis as best as you can

lol wtf's the point of buying a cobalt LS and then changing it over to rwd you might as well get a 240sx if your gonna be useing the backend of it any way for same price haha....unless again yes your doing the victory red ss thing and ending up with like 1000hp or something hahah

Well I'm currently taking measurements to put the motor in the trunk and use all the stock gear... I'll repost in a few days when its figured out. Put a SBC in the bed of my 89 hardbody so I'm thinkin this couldn't be much harder.

For what it would cost, I would get a Subaru STI brand new and still keep the cobalt.

Even if you could make it work- it would probably just make your car worse.
