Turn your seats and steering wheel around. Find a way to mount pedals in a new position. Then put car in reverse. You then have a 1 speed RWD cobalt.

Actually it is quite easy but not for this car. There is a RWD kit for the mk1 Focus (2000-2004 IIRC).

Delta and Kappa Platforms are completely different. Just because they share the same basic motor doesn't mean the cobalt is easily made into a RWD.

The true answer: It has been done many times. Shops sell RWD Cobalt Platforms and Conversions for Drag Racing. I'd guess at over 50 exist and compete (seen them my self).
The problem is, it's not cost effective and not streetable.

To the OP: Talk to ZZP and see if they have an LSJ Supercharger Take Off Kit in stock. This is the easiest and most trouble free way to go about adding an SC to your LS.
