What did I do wrong?
Hey guys I plastidipped my wheels last week, started at about 2pm and it was about 50 degrees, ended up having to do some prep to clean them up abit and did the second coat around 5pm and it was about 45 degrees out...

They look great even though i was worried about the temperature now I have some reason too. I cant get a picture right now it will have to be within the hour, because I am tied up at work but my coworker just came in and said the "sticker" was falling off one of my wheels!!!!
In 4 different sections, the plastidip is peeling from the back of the wheel, and this is only on one wheel, it almost seems like it is coming off in a sheet.
I did 2 HEAVY coats of this stuff without sanding my wheels and I was confident that they would hold up dispite the temperature. So without seeing the wheels, any idea what couldve happend? Is the temperature being below 55-60 degrees really going to make the plastidip not adhere?

Immediate peeling is due to the lack of prep. Aka oils, grit, grime, etc. Lower temps will typically affect the curing process. If it's too cold such as 35 degrees or lower then it wont dry at all.
if you EVER put any kind of wax or polishing crap on them you really need to clean the hell out of the wheels..need to use a "prep all" or denatured alcohol..then do a water break test..pour water on it and if it beads at all then clean more..the water should "roll" or "sheet" off..
tack cloth works great for removing any dust from the air or sanding right before you paint it.
with no prep im not surprised it peeled. also since you sprayed it at 50 degrees. should be at least 70.

Rattle dipped my rims (18 in ss sc) only prep work was using glass cleaner and wiping the grime off them and letting them dry for about an hour after words (nice flat black color, no dark spots) put em on, haven't started to peel mayb just not enough dry time with the cooler temps? Been on for a couple weeks and I'm still nervous to pressure wash them
