Question Body Kit? Rims? What do you suggest?

Hey guys, so I'm going around trying to get some input and opinions on this...

Okay so I've been mulling over this one for a while... since winters in Chicago aren't very kind, I decided to put off any major appearance mods until spring (especially since I'll have $$$$ saved by then). So what do you guys think... what is the first major appearance mod I should make?

- Body Kit (I think the RK one is the best out of the available options, but I really like the Razzi rear with the dual exhaust...so I might have to get creative)

- Rims (I'd probably be looking at some respectable chrome 18's)

- Lambo Doors (I know everyone's gonna flame that one, but it's always a fun option to throw out there)

I know its all a matter of taste, and its my car blah blah blah, but I just wanted to get some input.

I would do rims, body kit, and springs first. But if I had to choose from one, I'd go with rims first.

I would do rims and lower it ...forget the doors and forget the body kit ...

I am going to assume you have a 2.2 or 2.4 ??

rims first, but if possible do performance first if you are into being fast if not rims, body kit (low profile one) i hate big huge ugly body kits, i would say no lambo doors, and no chrome wheels since they are super heavy and you can forget being fast

Ooops... forgot the details...

'05 Arrival Blue LS coupe with the Sport Package and Pioneer system. I'm more into show than performance...since I'm not into the racing scene. Thanks for the early responses...what does everyone else think?

I am going to add to my sugestion ....with the money you save on the body kit and doors buy a sounds system that is top of the line...it will provide you with enjoyment and is actually functional ...(you could even call it performance ...not speed but thats not your priority.)

i would say go with rims and lower it. if you want a body kit wait awhile i know theres a few nicer ones coming out. the doors are kinda a rip off imo theyre like 1500$ for a hinge...

Turbo kit and make a sleeper - I'd rather look stock and run a 13 then get laughed at and run a 15/16.

There's more to show then the exterior of a car.

heck, I might go buy a stock cobalt and make it a sleeper that's be the bomb...!!!
think about me saying 'my base cobalt is quicker than the one with the supercharger.'......
oh, it'd be sweet though...

ok well heres what i would do....i had a cavy and di everything backwards in my own opinion....heres the order in which i would do stuff

1. short shifter
2. intake
3. header
4. exhaust
5. lower it
6. rims
7. strut brace
8. turbo that bit(h
9. body mods
and i really wouldnt do stereo upgrades....i love my factory system...and the best part is it has 3 yr warranty...the pioneer upgrade kicks a lil ass....wasnt as nice as my pioneer and alpine system in the cavy....but it wa a hell of alot cheaper

p.s. you can put turbo in anywhere on that list....i just figure you might wanna wait till you dont have warranty

Def drop it first!

Rims without a drop make it look like a 4x4. Drop without rims still looks clean!

Or get a short shifter (my first mod). You have to touch a billion times a day! Might as well make it better!
