does anyone know if its possible or how to wire a strip of leds to work as brake and runnin lights? im gettin ready to do the skyline tail light thing wit the outer part of my back up lights and was wanting to make the work like the outter lights do..

no knows or can even tell me that it cant be done???

 

I could think of a design if I sat and thought about it for a really long time, but it would be very complicated

my guess would to have 2 sets of leds inside or brighter leds. have a strip that run off the regular lights and have the second set that run off the brake lights so that when you hit the brakes the brighter leds will out shine the regular. just an idea i dont know how well it would work

 

You could buy an 3157 LED. Thats what I have. I got them from superbrightleds.com . They are a little expensive, not bad though, but, they are really good quality, like 20-30 bulbs per LED bundle. It can work as both Running and Brake lights.

you can do the volksbalten mod and use the internals of a volkswagen passat. Stealty1ss did it.

yeah i seen that before and it looks cool as hell but im wantin to do the red ring around the backup lights with leds.. i just ordered led tail lights on ebay for the regular tail lights..
